Ashley trained with Kristin in 2011/12. Before this, he trained on the MA Voice Studies Course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2006. He has also had a 1-year mentorship with Jeanette Nelson, head of voice at the Royal National Theatre in London and a career-long mentorship with Senior DLT Joanna Weir-Ousten - the longest-serving Linklater teacher in the UK.
With over 15 years of experience, Ashley is now the head of voice at the world-renowned acting conservatoire The Oxford School of Drama, whose alumni include Claire Foy (The Crown), Babou Ceesay (Damilola, Our Loved Boy), Kiran Sonia Sawar (HBO’s The Nevers).
He also leads a hugely successful private practice. He has delivered coaching solutions to individuals and companies nationally and internationally including Microsoft, DLA Piper, SKY, HSBC, Barclays Bank, Prudential, BT, the BBC, Tisski, The Foundation for Law, Justice and Society, Kaspersky, Service Source, Skill Net, Cisco.
