Paula Langton

Paula Langton has served as Associate Professor at Boston University School of Theatre for the past 24 years and is former Head of the BFA Acting program. As an actor in training with Shakespeare & Company in the late 80s, she met Kristin Linklater and became a member of her all-female Shakespeare company, Company of Women, and Director of Company of Girls. She apprenticed directly with Linklater and certified with her to teach her method, becoming a Designated Linklater Teacher in 1991.

She was cast among an international group of actors who participated in the documentary "Giving Voice: An Actor's Journey with Kristin Linklater." She taught with Linklater at Emerson College for five years, and was instrumental in the development of the acting program there, under Linklater's direction.

She is considered a Senior Designated Linklater Voice Teacher and is engaged in ongoing research at Kristin Linklater Voice Centre Ltd. in Orkney, Scotland where she has been assisting and co-teaching with Linklater for several years prior to her passing.
