Originally from the US, Sarah Weatherwax has an honours BFA in Acting from Emerson College. AlongOriginally from the US, Sarah Weatherwax has an honours BFA in Acting from Emerson College. Alongwith private voice/audition coaching, she's worked as an on-set acting coach and taught at variouscompanies: Shakespeare & Company, Lenox, Massachusetts; Humber College Comedy Program;Workman Arts, a company devoted to fine arts training for people struggling with addiction and/or mentalillness; and Straeon Acting Studios in Toronto, Montreal and Boston. She's done voice work onnumerous shows including YOUNG DRUNK PUNK, HAVEN, HEARTLAND, SAVING HOPE, ROOKIEBLUE and movies such as THE BOOK OF NEGROES (mini-series), BEEBA BOYS, HOBO WITH ASHOTGUN and THE BIG HIT. Her production of MUD by Maria Irene Fornes, received four (out of five)Ns from NOW Magazine, Torontos primary arts paper. Other stage credits include Marlene inBORDERTOWN CAFE at the Port Stanley Festival Theatre and Violet in FARTHER WEST directed byJackie Maxwell. She was the recipient of a generous grant from the Canada Council for the Arts tocomplete her training with the renowned Kristin Linklater in 2003. One of Sarah's numerous short storieswas a finalist (one of ten selected from 500) in an international literarycompetition. Sarah lives with herfamily in Toronto, Ontario.
