    Getting Here

The Kristin Linklater Voice Centre is positioned on a remote hillside on the main island of Orkney. It may seem a world away from the busy urban existences most of us now live; but Orkney is actually very accessible, having long been a draw for visitors from around the world. Our island group is only 8 miles off the coast on mainland Scotland and is connected by three ferry services and regular flights. Two of our ferries have connecting train and bus services to Edinburgh and points south—Scrabster, by Thurso and Aberdeen. With spectacular scenery of highland Scotland on route the journey is part of the joy!
