I was born in Brussels, Belgium and I trained as an actor at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège. I have performed and directed since 1983. I ran a small venue in Brussels Le "Théâtre Le Café!" (2000-2004). I taught voice at the Conservatoire de Liège and Mons (1987-2010). I moved to the UK in 2010.
I teach voice at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (BA Applied Theatre, MA/MFA Acting and MA Practicional Voice Practice) and at the Central School of Speech and Drama (MA Voice Studies).
I regularly work with poets in conjunction with the Ledbury Poetry Festival.
This summer (August 2018) I am directing "Toutes les Choses Géniales" de Duncan MacMillan (Every Brilliant Thing) for the Festival de Spa (Belgium) www.festivaldespa.be.
