Brittany Bara

Brittany Bara is an actor, singer, and educator, currently serving as the Director of Theatre/Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, AR. 
 
As an actor and director, she has performed extensively throughout the US, Canada and Western Europe. As a Designated Linklater Teacher, Brittany is interested in helping people find their authentic voice - for use on stage, in business, and in everyday life.
 
Throughout all areas, she focuses her work on cultivating empathy. She believes strongly in radical kindness and approaching life with a generosity of spirit. Favourite roles include: Reno in Anything Goes, Woman 2 in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Mme. Thenardier in Les Miserables, and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College in Boston, MA and an MFA in Performance Pedagogy from the University of Pittsburgh.
