Ben Corbett

Ben Corbett is an Assistant Professor of Voice and Acting at the University of Arkansas. Ben specializes in voice and is both a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher and Certified Colaianni Speech Instructor. Ben previously taught voice and acting at the William Inge Center for the Arts/Independence Community College as an Associate Professor of Theatre, Oklahoma City University as an Associate Professor of Voice and Acting, and served a voice residency at the University of Kansas. His professional vocal coaching credits include TheatreSquared, Shakespeare Dallas, City Rep, the William Inge Theatre Festival, the Valdez Theatre Conference, the Hollywood Fringe Festival, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Barter Theatre, Burning Coal Theatre Company, and Shakespeare Santa Cruz. He obtained his MFA in Acting from the University of Pittsburgh and his BA in Drama from the University of Dallas.  He is a proud member of Actor’s Equity, and is the creator of the Arkansas Accent Project.
