Workshops FAQs

Which workshop should I participate in?

If you have no Linklater Voice experience then you begin with the Introductory Voice workshop. This workshop covers the full progression of the Linklater Voice method. You will experience the basics of Freeing the Natural Voice and a clear practical understanding of how your voice works. Once you have this understanding you can move on to the Advanced workshops.

I have some Linklater Voice experience but not with Kristin directly and wish to attend an Advanced workshop what should I do?

Kristin would still recommend that you participate in an Introductory Voice workshop at KLVC before moving on to additional workshops. HOWEVER she will make exceptions depending on specific teachers you have had and the nature and number of Linklater workshops you have experienced.

Please fill in your training history on your online profile so we have as much information as possible OR use the enquire button on your preferred workshop giving as much background training history as possible. Kristin can then recommend the appropriate workshop.

Can I complete an Introductory Voice and an Advanced Voice workshop back to back?

Kristin prefers that you participate in the Introductory workshop and let it settle before returning for an Advanced workshop. This gives you time to do your homework and make the work your own. BUT again, this does depend on your training background, the logistics involved and your ability to train again at a later date.

What if I am unsure of the workshop content?

There is a full workshop description on each workshop page. If you are still unsure please use the enquire button on your preferred workshop giving as much background training history as possible and an outline of your needs. Kristin can then recommend the appropriate workshop.

Are there prerequisites for every workshop?

The prerequisites are listed on the description page for each workshop. If you are not sure that you fulfill the prerequisites please use the enquire button and give a brief training history. Kristin will then confirm which workshop is suitable for you.
